Hi, Is there a way to estimate the resolution of the map obtained from phenix.local_aniso_sharpen? I find that it produces nice maps, but there’s no output information that I can see. Best wishes, Luca Luca Pellegrini, PhD Department of Biochemistry University of Cambridge Cambridge CB2 1GA UK
Hi Luca,
The log file should have some lines at the end that include something like:
final_d_fsc_half_map_143: 3.01
starting_d_fsc_half_map_143: 3.01
Those are the estimates of starting and final resolution, based on half-map
FSC = 0.143. If you do not use local_sharpening then the starting and
final resolution will normally be the same.
Let me know if that doesn't do it!
All the best,
Tom T
