I uploaded the model file and the reference set( the downloaded str. factors) and then specified a lower resolution but since I had given reference set I was not allowed to specify a resolution range but I do want to specify the reference range to upload the same ref file labels in the structure factor files.

Is there an alternative?

You can use the reflection file editor to create a copy of the structure factors from the PDB with the resolution cut back, then use that as the reference dataset for F(model) calculation. -Nat
