Hi Fulvio, it's not a simple file format conversion. In this case MTZ file is supposed to contain Fourier map coefficients, and Xplor formatted file will contain Fourier image of electron density map (typically simply called "electron density map"). So this converson also involves a FT. Tool in PHENIX called phenix.mtz2map will do what you want: http://www.phenix-online.org/version_docs/dev-713/mtz2map.htm Type phenix.mtz2map in the command line without arguments too see the parameters: you may want to adjust some of them to get what you want (for example, by default it will output CCP4 formatted (binary) map). Try GUI to see if it's available in the GUI. Pavel. On 3/30/11 4:11 AM, fulvio saccoccia wrote:
Greetings to all,
Does anyone know how convert a .mtz file into a xplor format file?
Thanks in advance
