Hi all, In case anyone else runs into the same problems (which is not unlikely), the following worked for me:

svn co https://pymol.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pymol/trunk/pymol cd pymol cctbx.python setup.py build cctbx.python setup.py install

port select --set python python27
