Folks The return of SVN on SF has caused a few problems on the BuildBot but I moved the cctbx_project directory and forced some builds. I'm hoping things will progress but will check later tonight. There have been some strange error messages causing some emails to be send but I'm hoping things will settle soon. Cheers Nigel --- Nigel W. I tried updating my local copy of cctbx and it seems that sourceforge
restored revision 22623. I have revision 22624, so svn did not update my
copy. I guess we have to figure out how to get the sourceforge version to
be the most recent.

Billy,
Check the post-commit messages; I and Gerstel just committed 22623 and
22624 today, meaning that sourceforge restored version 22622.
Are you saying that two commits from before the Sourceforge failure have
now been lost?

Hi Nick,
Yes, I think sourceforge restored a version that was about a day before the
crash. Here is the output for when I type "svn info" for my copy.

Folks Looks like we now have parallel timelines in the repo; can anyone verify that the recovery was to exactly one revision not some weird hybrid? Git users can probably apply here… We have parallel revision numbers from 22622 onwards... Thanks Graeme

Hi everyone, Jenkins is also reporting an SVN problem with both revisions 22629 and 22626 reported as HEAD. I think that this error is jenkins-local, ie. the sourceforge repository has been retrieved from a clean r22622 backup and all error messages are on the client side, which expects a higher revision number than the current r22626. (Reasoning behind this theory: I have copied the (server-side) sourceforge repository over to a local machine, and have not find any indications of r22629 commits.) The restore of the missing r22623-r22629 revisions should be greatly helped by the fact that the full patches for those revisions can be found at http://sourceforge.net/p/cctbx/mailman/cctbx-cvs/?viewmonth=201507 We can verify the (restored) r22629 repository against a backup I pulled from Jenkins after the SF crash, and temporarily stored at https://github.com/xia2/cctbx/ They should be identical except bootstrap.py. -Markus ________________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] on behalf of [email protected] [[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, July 26, 2015 12:07 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [cctbxbb] SVN is back on SourceForge Folks Looks like we now have parallel timelines in the repo; can anyone verify that the recovery was to exactly one revision not some weird hybrid? Hi Marcin,
Buildbot isn't exactly a replacement for http://cci.lbl.gov/cctbx_build.
Buildbot has replaced the intenral build system that
http://cci.lbl.gov/cctbx_build pulls from, which means that website has
gone stale. We intend to fix this when we can.
